COREP C 04.00 (CA 4) Capital Adequacy - Memorandum Items
Own Funds: COREP C 04.00 records a firm’s Capital Adequacy requirements.
In particular, upon this COREP template sheet, Column 010, Row 830 records a firm’s initial capital requirement in GBP.
For each reporting period, a firm’s initial capital requirement, such as €125,000 for BIPRU €125K firms, will need to be recorded and reported upon this sheet as a figure in Pound Sterling (GBP £) - the firm’s base currency.
The £ equivalent initial capital requirement figure needs to be calculated at the correct Bank of England exchange rate as detailed on our COREP Foreign Exchange Rate page.
